Building Blocks Learning Club

Ages 6 – 12

Literacy:Mastering Words

Here, kids don’t just learn to read and write—they enhance their critical thinking and research skills through engaging projects. They might analyze historical events and write their opinions or express creativity through story writing. Whether it’s crafting a short story or analyzing geographic data, language becomes their tool for exploring the world!

SEL:Building Connections

SEL (Social-Emotional Learning): Through role-playing and group activities, kids learn to communicate, collaborate, and resolve conflicts. They might plan a small community event to understand teamwork or practice expressing their ideas while listening to others. SEL not only builds emotional intelligence but also equips kids with essential skills for thriving in the real world.

Math:Cracking Numbers

Math is more than just arithmetic! Kids dive into geometry and probability, exploring how numbers solve real-world problems. For example, they might build models to understand shapes and structures or conduct simple experiments to see how probability affects decisions. It’s a place where numbers come to life and learning becomes exciting!

Social Studies: Exploring the World

Kids engage in fun and interactive ways to learn geography, history, and archaeology—even conducting their own “excavations” to uncover historical secrets! They might plan virtual adventures, study cultural heritage, or learn to analyze and use resources, gaining a deeper understanding of humanity’s past and the diversity of the world for future exploration.
