Hands-on Experiments
Ages 3 – 9
Active learning
Hands-on experiments are all about letting kids “get their hands dirty” while learning science! Picture this: kids put on their safety goggles, carefully pour some liquid, toss a ball, and then shout, “This is science!” That’s right, hands-on experiments let them figure out things like gravity, friction, and maybe even accidentally cause a “mini explosion” (don’t worry, safety first!).
Curiosity sparked
Even better, hands-on experiments spark kids’ curiosity, making them ask things like, “Why is this bubble so big?” or “Can I make the volcano erupt again?” Through this fun way of learning, they become little scientists without even realizing it, excited to explore the wonders of the world!
Engaging exploration
The benefit of hands-on experiments? They give kids the chance to be “science detectives,” investigating all sorts of mysterious phenomena—way more fun than sitting at a desk listening to a lecture. Who’s going to remember a boring textbook about chemical reactions? But they’ll never forget that time they made a soda-and-Mentos “fountain.”
